Today we’d like to show a little bit of extra appreciation to the emergency nurses who dedicate their life to helping those in need.

From working long hours , to going above and beyond to improve patient’s comfort during a painful time, we must acknowledge ER nurses and what they do for us.

We are thankful in times of crisis.

We are thankful for you always.

Emergency nurses constantly face a fast paced stressful work environment where lives are on the line. They barely have time to catch a break or even eat their lunch. Although faced with many obstacles, the role an emergency nurse plays can be very rewarding. Knowing you helped someone feel better or even SAVE someone’s life is an achievement one cannot overlook. They worked hard to get to where they are and they should be thanked for their service.

Especially in times of crisis that include a high multitude of people in need of care. Emergency nurses are called from their homes to help and they dedicate hours and hours to tend to everyone. There is a special kind of bond the ER nurses and patients share that the doctor will never have. The nurses get to know their patients on a higher level, they make sure the patient is comfortable, and sometimes nurses solve more of the patients case.

“As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients, their families and ourselves. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”
